Air Conditioned Property with Pool in the Heart of Provence

Val d’Alpilles is located in the heart of the charming village of Maussane les Alpilles, Provence at the foot of the Alpilles. The townhouse is in a lovely residence with pool, tennis courts, boules court and within walking distance to the village center – which provides a nice selection of village bakers, small grocery markets, cafes and many fine restaurants. This peaceful getaway consists of a living room, dining area and kitchenette. Two bedrooms (sleeps 4 comfortably) and bathroom are located on the second floor with a nice view of the Alpilles range and the medieval village and ruins of Les Baux in the distance. There is also a private outdoor patio area with grill and comfortable outdoor furniture. Bicycles are available for use (2 adult and 2 children’s) and air conditioning in all rooms makes the summer heat bearable.

Maussane is located 4km from Les Baux and 9km from St. Remy, well know for its colorful market and excellent restaurant selection and it is ideal for exploring the Alpilles countryside. Maussane is a wonderful location to explore all that Provence has to offer. It is ideally situated with easy access to Arles (11km), Tarascon, Beaucaire, Avignon (30km), the Camargue, Nimes, Marseille, Cassis, Aix, the Pont du Gard, the Cotes du Rhone wine region, Gordes, and further north to the Luberon and Mount Ventoux. Nice is a quick two hour drive away.

If your travels keep you closer to home the Maussane, Fontvieille, Paradou, Eygalieres villages offer plenty of fine vineyards, olive oil producers, market days and ancient ruins (Glanum, Les Baux) and museums to explore. In Maussane itself Roman baths sit side by side with outdoor cafes. Market day is Thursday morning in Maussane and Wednesday morning in St. Remy….not to be missed! The valley provides easy bicycle rides, great walks and stunning scenery throughout the area.

There is parking available and an electronic entrance gate protects the property and its surrounds.
